Rogue Glitch is a new roguelite game created by independent developer Lino Slahuschek and published by Numskull Games. Slahuschek's latest indie multiplayer game is great because of its changes to the genre's formula. Here are some of the coolest features introduced in the game:

• It tells a complex narrative through in-game events
• There are 12 different character variations with different upgrades and skins
• The developer adds new items and features with frequent updates

If you've never played a roguelite before, here are the main ideas of the genre: Every level is procedurally generated and you get random power-ups every time you play. 

Every run is a whole new experience in Rogue Glitch. If you want to beat the bosses, you should try to get as many items as you can! The game is hard enough that even veteran gamers will call it a challenge!

Rogue Glitch also lets you access glitched versions of your old characters. You're able to do this if you complete the game. This is one of the many unique in-game features!

The Story of Rogue Glitch

You used to be a normal platforming character, but then glitches appeared in your colorful 2D world! Levels changed, the enemies started behaving in strange ways, and your power-ups became different! Instead of ignoring these glitches, you decide to explore the changing world around you.

This is such an interesting concept for a game. I won't spoil the story for you, but you meet a strange character who wants to make a deal with you. Are they a friend, or are they a foe?

Rogue Glitch's Art Direction

Rogue Glitch uses a very endearing, minimalist art style. The game is fun to look at because of its cute character designs and colorful levels. Finding new enemy types is so much fun because they have wonderful designs.

This game also has great audio. The game's composer, Failpositive, did a phenomenal job on the music which sounds like it comes right from an arcade game. All the retro sound effects bring the action to life.

All in all, Rogue Glitch has a solid art direction which adds so much to the gameplay.

How Does the Gameplay Feel?

This is where things get cool. Rogue Glitch adds a few unique gameplay mechanics to the roguelite formula. The game includes an auto-aim feature. This lets you focus on dodging enemy attacks and collecting unique power-ups.

It also rewards replayability because of another feature. Every time you complete a run you get access to a new version of one of your old characters! Also, you can enjoy the game with up to three of your friends with local or online co-op!

I would describe Rogue Glitch as a casual game that still presents a challenge to the player. For example, there are lots of enemies that are tough to beat until you find the right strategy to take them out. After that, you can beat them without a problem!

All in all, Rogue Glitch is a game that's easy to play but hard to master. It's because of this that the game can stay so fresh without feeling like it's too hard to complete.
