Steel Wool Studios
Steel Wool Games, now known as Steel Wool Studios, is an independent video game development studio in Oakland, CA. Since its founding in 2012, CEO Andrew Dayton and his team of industry veterans have launched several creative projects, including the popular virtual reality games Quar: Battle for Gate 18, Five Nights at Freddy's VR: Help Wanted, and The Curse of Dreadbear.
In collaboration with FNaF creator Scott Cawthon, Steel Wool Studios made Five Nights at Freddy's go AAA. The latest addition to the survival-horror franchise is Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach, which launched in December 2021.
