Square Enix

Square Enix is a Japanese game company, best known for its Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, and Kingdom Hearts RPGs. Square Enix was formed via the merger between game developer Square and the game publisher Enix, in April 2003. Square Enix has companies and studios in Montreal and Tokyo.

In 2009, Square Enix acquired the British game publisher Eidos Interactive, which was absorbed into Square Enix Europe.
