About Star Wars: The Old Republic

Developed by BioWare, Star Wars: The Old Republic (SWTOR for short) is an MMORPG video game, available for the Windows operating system. It released in 2011. The video game takes place in the famous Star Wars universe. Its main story is about two major factions called The Sith and the Galactic Republic. Players have a shifting light/dark compass that gives more flexibility within the two broader groups.

There are lots of Star Wars races available. A few of the choices are humans, cyborgs, Miraluka, and Sith Pureblood. Some races only serve one of the factions, so players must pick carefully. There are also 8 classes that are faction specific and have their own tales. Players' in-game choices affect what path their stories take, and add depth to every character. As a result, no two people play the same and this creates a one of a kind adventure.

Star Wars: The Old Republic Features

This video game has released 6 expansions since launch, and the amount of content it offers is huge because of its age. It offers both player versus enemy and player versus player content. Each expansion raises the level cap for playable characters and also adds story progress. Fight against the Hutt Clan or have starship fights, but these are only two of many additions. Players can buy in-game housing and there are user-created groups called guilds, too.

Another highlight of the game is the customization. It's very easy to create a totally unique character and experience. There are multiple races, classes, and advanced classes while companion characters help make memorable stories. They follow players on missions throughout the galaxy, provide comments, and form emotional bonds. There are also adventures called flashpoints. These are great for people seeking a sense of community, and they make up a portion of the game to provide intense group situations. Players team up to take on extra dangerous foes. Trying many different groups of player classes is key to success. The rewards are as great as the risks in these community-based quests.

In Conclusion

SWTOR is an award-winning free-to-play video game that earns praises from fans and critics. The MMORPG makes it easy to join the Star Wars' fictional world. Wield a lightsaber as the Jedi or Sith classes or be a jack of all trades like Han Solo as a Galactic Republic Smuggler. Build and fight a starship in online combat with other players or focus on the deep story elements. Learn everything about Star Wars' political web. Star Wars The Old Republic offers customization beyond compare and does it in a truly loved universe. The game leaves players itching to explore every nook and cranny.
