About Raft
Raft - Survive the Open Ocean
Embark on a Journey Alone or With Friends
A Waterworld Survival Experience
Raft is the first game from the team at Redbeet Interactive. Wake up, deserted, drifting afloat on the vast blue ocean. You're equipped with nothing but a flimsy fishing rod and plastic hook. Solo or with other players, scavenge materials that help you build a base as you explore the wide-open sea.
Scavenge, Build, and Thrive Seaside
The barren nature of the ocean makes it the perfect setting for a survival game. The heart of Raft is gathering resources, which you do differently. Survival isn't limited to staying in one place or just floating around and hoping for the best items to come your way, though.
Find tons of different islands, reefs, and unexpected locations in the randomly generated world.
Find tons of different islands, reefs, and unexpected locations in the randomly generated world. It keeps things endlessly interesting and replayability very high. Add in friends for a truly unique experience of collaboration in this 4/5 concept.

As Bleak As The Ocean That Stranded You
Let's be honest, the graphics are not exactly top 2020. Raft relies on your desire for some super-duper solid survival gameplay. The game isn't unplayable by any means, but the charm is hard-pressed.
Everything is readily available in the streamlined menus.
Where the game does make up for this is its crafting menus. Everything is readily available in the streamlined menus. One notable drawback is no mass craft button. Meanwhile, important survival info like health, thirst, and hunger are all always clearly indicated on-screen.

Discover Endless Surprises and Secrets
You aren't the only survivor in Raft, of course! You'll encounter many different types of areas as you drift across the ocean. Some may not be very friendly, while others may provide invaluable resources.
Starting, struggle with simple tasks like water purification and raft steering. Feed yourself by hunting on various islands or by fishing. However, once you've researched and unlocked different tools, Raft evolves into something else. Create a full-fledged city on your humble floatation device, complete with skyscrapers and automated food production.
Exploration is the key to progressing through the research table and building an epic floating empire.
Unlike some survival games, Raft does not feature any RPG aspects. Your character will never get stronger or become less susceptible to thirst or hunger. You can build things like backpack expansions so you can carry more items and weight, though. Seek out the mysteries of the world as you progress through technology trees with items like radar.
Adding friends for some co-op play doesn't change the difficulty. It's easy to drop in and out. The experience is equally fun alone or with others! All in all, it's a 4/5 classic survival experience.
