Paladins Features
No matter your play style, Paladins has something for everyone. There are a variety of champions to choose from and adds more with every update. Each champion falls into one of four categories: Damage, Front Line, Support, and Flank.
Damage characters are all about that DPS. Strike fear into your enemies' hearts with powerful attacks and excellent mobility. Alternatively, you can lead your party to victory and fend off the enemy. Front Line Champions are tanks - they cast shields and take bullets. A Support Champion is a healer - darting to and fro, reviving fallen allies and saving lives. Support characters are vital for a successful campaign. When you flank, you can become one with the shadows, slip behind the enemy lines, sabotage your foes and catch people by surprise. While risky, a successful flank champion can turn the tide of battle.
Also, players have the ability to choose between three different game modes: Siege, Team Deathmatch, and Onslaught. Each game mode has its own set of maps each with their own play style, rules, and objectives.
Siege is often considered the main game mode. To win a Siege match, you must do two things. Your team must capture an objective point, and then push or defend a moving payload. The objective point must be secured first by standing on the designated area and fighting off the other team. Once this is done, the payload cart will spawn, which you will have to protect as it travels towards the enemy base. Once the payload is delivered, a new round begins. Teams receive points upon capturing objective areas, and if they deliver the payload. The first to reach 4 points is the winning team.
The Team Deathmatch mode is a classic player vs. player challenge. Your team has one objective - eliminate the enemy. Each kill is worth 1 point. The first team to 40 points is the winner. Finally, the Onslaught is like playing King of the Hill - but deadlier. In this mode, there is only one point of control for two teams to fight over. Combat is a wild free-for-all. Gain 1 ticket for every second your team is in control, and 5 for every kill. The first team to 400 tickets (or whichever has the most tickets after 10 minutes) wins.
In Summary
Paladins is a customizable, free-to-play, fantasy FPS video game. If you are looking for an action-packed, PvP, team-based video games, Paladins: Champions of the Realm is for you!
