Riot Games
Riot Games is an American video game developer and eSports tournament organizer based in West Los Angeles, California, and now and has 23 corporate offices worldwide. The company was founded in August 2006 by University of Southern California roommates Brandon Beck and Marc Merrill. In 2009, Riot Games released its flagship product and best-known title, League of Legends. The multiplayer online battle arena game became the most played PC game in the world. This inspired the company to organize several eSports tournaments for the game including the League of Legends World Championship, Championship Series, and Mid-Season Invitational.
