miHoYo is a video game developer, publisher, and animation studio located in Shanghai. miHoYo began as a group of three university students with a shared passion for all things anime.
Since the company was officially founded in 2012, miHoYo has launched several popular anime-style mobile games including Zombiegal Kawaii, Guns GirlZ, Honkai Impact 3rd, Tears of Themis, and more.
In September 2020, miHoYo launched their most recent cross-platform title, Genshin Impact. The open-world action-RPG has become a worldwide phenomenon by becoming the most popular Chinese game to ever release in North America.
