Kyle Seeley is an independent video game developer from Boston, MA. In 2014, Seeley graduated with a BSc in video game development. Since then, he has gained industry experience by working for a few independent studios, including Zapdot.

Seeley has also launched a few solo projects, including Emily Is Away, which has seen over 1.5 million downloads on Steam and welcomed a sequel, Emily is Away Too. In April 2021, Seeley revealed the third installment to the Emily series, Emily Is Away <3.
